Heart-spotting Contest Entry

From fellow Vancouver Islander Tony B.:

Here is a shot of a very old heart on a large log at Stephenson Point in Nanaimo.

I, for one, wonder if AS + SF are still an item…

Heart-spotting Contest Entry

In the Hawaiian language, “Ho’i Hou Ke Aloha” means “Let us fall in love all over again.” Seeing the beautiful photos Caitlin M. posted on her blog (Blue Dot Jewelry) made me fall in love with Kaua’i all over again!

Caitlin sent me this fabulous photo from her trip:

When I saw this papaya tree in Koloa, Kauai (Hawaii) last week, I thought of your blog. Hearts up and down the trunk!

A Prehistoric Heart

Heart-spotting Contest Entry

From Tony B.:

Prehistoric rock beside the Englishman River. Does the heart shape of the lower hole fit your criteria regarding “heart shapes in our world”?

{Editor’s note: If it’s heart-shaped and seems like it belongs in My Heart-Shaped World, yes…it absolutely fits the criteria!}

My teenager Alex sent me this one after he spotted a picture of it on Facebook. It’s a heart-shaped hole in a seaside cliff at Maui’s Nakalele Blowhole.
